Our Panforte

No one is certain of when Panforte was first created, although legend has it dating back to the year 1000. Originating in Tuscany, Italy, the rich, dense, “strong bread”, as it translates, was traditionally served in fine wedges with a glass of Vin Santo wine.

Madeline Kent Cakes Panforte are characterised by a unique combination of distinctive flavours that meld together harmoniously to delight the senses. Individually hand made according to a century old technique, our Panforte have a slightly softer texture than many traditional varieties.
